We get asked that question all the time. I was born in the 70s, my husband and I love era and I have vivid memories of my late father wearing the funkiest bellbottoms and apple caps. So we thought what better way to honor the era that we love, our sense of style and my father’s memory than to call our business Uncle Funky’s Daughter. » What is your Mission Statement?
Uncle Funky’s Daughter’s mission is to redefine the standard of beauty and to empower those who struggle to embrace their natural beauty to be unapologetically free to be. Uncle Funky’s Daughter believes that authentic, natural beauty is one of the greatest gifts of life. We strive to foster inclusive harmonies that encourage an appreciation for the environment in which we live, a respect for the culture of others human beings and a divine love, knowledge and appreciation of self.
